- First, select cell C6 and change its value.
- We replaced the value ‘Basketball’ and inserted ‘Swimming’.
- Now, press CTRL+S to Save to changes.
- Then, select the Home ribbon.
- From there, click on the Undo button.
- Finally, the save will be undone. The value of Cell C6 again will change into ‘Basketball’.

3. Using Manage Workbook Feature to Retrieve Earlier Versions of Excel FileÂ

- First, in the dataset, we added the Age of the students in column D.
- Then, we changed all the data from Cell D5 to Cell D11 and saved the values by using CTRL+S.
- After that, click on File to open the file section.
- Then, click on Info >> select Version History.
- Next, the Version History list showed up.
- From there, you can select the desired version to open in a separate window by clicking on the Open version.
