1. Using Object Feature to Insert PDF as Image in Excel

There is a feature named Object under the Insert tab which can be used to insert PDF as image in Excel. The step-by-step is described in the following section.

Steps:

  • Select a cell (i.e. B4) first where you want to insert the image.
  • Next, go to the Insert tab.
  • Then, pick Object from the Text group in the ribbon.

  • From the Create New tab, select Adobe Acrobat Document from the Object type section.
  • Followingly, click on OK.

2. Inserting PDF as Image After Converting PDF into Image in Excel

Another very interesting way to insert PDF as image is to insert the converted image of the PDF file. For this, follow the following steps.

  • With the help of your preferred way, convert the PDF file into an image.

  • Next, go to the Insert tab.
  • From the ribbon, select the Pictures option.
  • Then, pick This Device… from the Insert Picture From group.
