- Furthermore, press right-click on the spin bottle button and select the Format Cells option.
- Afterward, in the Format Control window, set the Current Value, Increment Change, and Cell Link accordingly and press OK.
- Moreover, you will get the desired result in the percentage form like the below image. If you look at the result, then you will see that, though in the current value, we have inserted 4, you got the result in Excel as 400% in the image.
So this is kind of a problem. What we need is basically a decimal value, as we know percentage means the ratio of a number to 100. For that reason, we will refer to a new cell for the spin button.
- Now, in the E8 cell, insert a random value.
- Furthermore, press right-click on the spin bottle button and select the Format Cells Now, in the Format Control window, set the Current Value, Increment Change, and Cell Link accordingly, and press the OK button. If you have looked closely now we have connected the E8 cell with the spin bottle in this case.
- Subsequently, insert the following formula in the C8Â cell.
=E8/100
- As a result, you have got the percentage result accordingly.
- Then, insert the following formula in cell C11.
=PMT(C8/12,C10,C7,1,1)
- In addition, after pressing the Enter button, you will get the result for this cell by using the PMT function.
- Subsequently, insert the following formula in cell C12 using the multiplication of cells.
=C11*C10
- Finally, you will get the final result with the help of the multiplication of cells in Excel.
- Now, if you use the spin bottle option and change the value of cell C8, then you will get the proper change in cells C10 and C11.
Thus, we have determined the Total payable with the help of the Excel spin button percentage.
