Excel is the most widely used tool for dealing with massive datasets. We can perform myriads of tasks of multiple dimensions in Excel. Sometimes we may face problems while working with Excel. Before going to the solutions, let me explain the problem first. The clipboard feature is available in every Microsoft Office program, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and others.

1. Enable Live Preview Option
The first solution is to enable the live preview option to solve the issue. To do so,
- First of all, go to the File
- Then, select Options.
- After that, mark the Enable Live Preview.
- Finally, click OK.
2. Clear Excel Clipboard
Sometimes, if you have too many files copied in your clipboard, Excel may show you this error message. To get rid of this, you must clear the clipboard. To do so,
- Go to the Home
- Select the arrow sign shown in the image.
- Then, select Clear All.
- Excel will clear all the copied items.
3. Reinstall Microsoft Excel
If the above 2 solutions don’t work, you may need to reinstall Microsoft Office to solve the clipboard problem. To do so,
- First, uninstall Microsoft Office from the Control Panel.
- Then reinstall Microsoft Office.
